Just seven months after giving birth to daughter Maxwell, Jessica Simpson finds out she is pregnant again. One would say this was a much-unplanned pregnancy that even Jessica Simpson was not happy about at first. After losing 60 pounds on her $4 million sponsorship program with Weight Watchers now she will be gaining it all back with the new pregnancy. For this baby shower, Jessica Simpson did anything but conventional. As you know the pregnancy was a surprise and definitely unplanned therefore, guests were there to celebrate the upcoming arrival of the newest Simpson baby boy: condoms! The odd party favor is anything but traditional, guests walked away with more pregnancy preventions than glamor, and cute baby gag accessories. Not only did she give a lame party favor she also did the unheard of and hosted her own baby shower for baby number two.
Most celebrities would not have gone as far as Jessica Simpson on the party favor actually many went a very different route. For example, Britney Spears Moroccan Feast inspired baby show; guests walked away with a party favor gift bag filled with $545 in clothes, jewelry, and her famous trademark ?Curious? perfume. What an amazing party favor right.
Sheryl Crowe did an eco-conscious green baby shower; guests received paper decorations with flower seeds embedded. Guests where literally able to take home their gifts and plant then, on each paper Sheryl included a poem about her baby to come and the baby?s future.
Tori Spelling went over top and tops off the party favors for her baby shower with a loot bag from Silver Spoon, holding goodies like Too Faced Lip Injection, $600 pearl bracelet, and inphant elefant baby blanket. Talk about over the top there.
Although the pregnancy was a shock for Jessica Simpson after seeing what other celebrities would do for gift bags one would have thought, she would have been a little more inventive and creative. Guests must have gotten one heck of a shocker when they realized the only thing they would have been walking away with was more ways to prevent babies. Perhaps, Jessica Simpson went a little overboard with the completely unplanned pregnancy tactic and pushed prevention on her guests a little too far.
