Disaster Apps
While surfing the Web this afternoon I happened to catch an article on the FOX News website about ?apps? for iPhones and Android-based phones.
Some pretty handy apps here. I?m particularly drawn to the ?Disaster Readiness? app. From the piece:

Should the power go out, you won?t be able to rely upon the Internet for information. This handy app should have all the info you need, with sections on floods, fires, evacuation, and how to find or create shelter in an emergency.
175,000 reference guides all in one place- and without needing Internet access to get to them?
I?m impressed.
