Union leaves it late to overcome Chivas USA

[MLS REWIND Week 20] The Montreal Impact's defensive problems and the LA Galaxy's late-game woes continued on a day that saw a shakeup at the top of both conferences. Montreal fell to the New York Red Bulls, 4-0, and dropped from first place into a tie with the Red Bulls for second in the Eastern Conference behind Sporting Kansas City, which took over first place with a 3-0 win over Toronto FC. Andrew Jean-Baptiste scored four minutes into stoppage time to give the Portland Timbers a 2-1 comeback win over the Galaxy that moved them into second place in the Western Conference, where Real Salt Lake opened up a four-point lead with a 3-0 win at FC Dallas.

-- Thierry Henry had a goal and two assists. Eric Alexander, Tim Cahill and Peguy Luyindula also scored for the Red Bulls and Alexander and Cahill also hit the woodwork. Montreal has conceded 12 goals in the last four games during which it has earned only two points.

-- Soony Saad had the first two goals to lead Sporting KC past Toronto FC, which has one win in its last 16 games.

-- In international action, the Columbus Crew fell to Wigan Athletic, 2-1, before 8,393 fans at Crew Stadium.
